in the last tutorial meeting, the tutor gave me the idea to explore the gridshell for and to use it in the bridge with the idea of create little intimate spaces to stay and relax. The main idea is the structure as furniture. So, need to be something organic, fluid. I really like it and as I started to do some models to understand the idea, I also did a research about the subject.
For the bridge design I would need that the gridshell cover the roof, or the main direct route for just passing. There are two design options for this: The columns would be a part of the gridshell or the gridshell is being support by them.
I still do not know how the upper part of the bridge is going to be structural connected with the columns because of the big spans that exists.
